Probably C16 timber-framed house with later additions of several periods. Garden
front, now faced with painted brick, of 2 storeys, 2 windows, under hipped tiled
roof, C18 appearance. Mid C19 sashes and modern casements under segmental arches.
C19 right extension and modern lean-to beyond. Left addition probably of C18
and modern part beyond that. Old part of house shows as projecting centre bay
under gable now half hipped, at centre of entrance front. Visible timber-framing
with plaster filling above, brick below. Inside an inglenook and much exposed
timber.
