Former public house. C16 or earlier wing, front range 1729. Front range: ground floor coursed galletted stone, first floor painted brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. Two storeys on moulded stone plinth. Plat band under three of first floor windows only. Boxed eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Rear stack to left end. Regular fenestration of four glazing bar sashes in open boxes. Ground floor has late C19 sashes with horns. Half-glazed and panelled door with plain rectangular fanlight under second window from left. Heavy late C19 bracketted hood over door, with dentilled frieze and moulded triangular pediment. Datestone to first floor. Rear wing to left: in two sections. Timber-framed, tile-hung, with plain tile roof. Single bay adjoining front range two storeys, with large red brick stack at rear end, in right slope of roof. Approximately two further timber-framed bays with more steeply pitched roof, also two storeys, with lean-to to left side, hip to rear, and small stack. Short right return wing C19, brick and tile-hung, two storeys.
