Description


ROCHESTER BOLEY HILL TQ 7468 SW 9/5 Trevine, with Garden Walls to Boley Hill 24.10.50 GV II House. Late c18 and early to mid C19 (rear range). Brick; roof not visible. 2 ranges of different dates abut and run parallel. 2 storeys. Front: 2 window range and 3 window canted bay to right, the latter with dentilled cornice; parapet with stone coping throughout. 12-pane hornless sash windows in reveals under flat brick arches, the sashes to the canted bay may be original. Left-hand wide segmental arch with later door and window; 4-pane sashes to right. rear: 3 window range; parapet with red brick plat band, the lower floor rendered. 12-pane hornless sash windows to 1st floor, 3 pointed Gothick windows below. Some sash windows to side elevation. Interior not inspected. This listing includes the front wall (to Boley Hill): brick with gabled coping; 2 rendered piers to vehicle entrance, pedestrian entrance with quadrant walls. Brick cogging course.
