House, c1838 (date on No. 81, adjoining to south) with later additions and
alterations. Coursed, squared rubble with rusticated quoins. C20 concrete
tiled roofs; main house has stone end chimneys and C20 dormer. 2 storeys; main
house symmetrical 3 bays. Central panelled door and semicircular fanlight in
stone surround with carved imposts and keystone. Sashes to front and east
return; round-arched stair window to east return. Lower 2-bay extension set
back to west has part glazed door. Single sash to each floor on right. All
windows in stone surrounds; some with glazing bars, others boarded up at time of
survey (Jan. 1984). Included for group value.
