Milestone. Early C19. Painted stone. Semicircular on plan, on square base
with broaches to angles. Inscribed: "BB : KL/4¾" : 11¾". Placed on the Sedbrgh
to Grayrigg turnpike road, 1762. (BB - Borrow Bridge, KL = Kirkby Lonsdaie).
