Farmhouse, late C17 with front wing added 1876. Brown brick with
darker, smaller bricks in English garden wall bond to C17 wing; grey
slate roofs, graded on C17 wing. Front wing of 2 storeys plus attic,
with 3 windows, has replaced glazed door in round-arched opening with
radial bar fanlight and 4-pane recessed sashes with stop-chamfered
stone lintels and projecting stone cills; central ridge chimney;
canted bay window in left gable-end; attic windows in gables.
C17 rear wing has stone plinth; flush stone quoins at corners and
window-reveals; recessed ovolo painted stone-mullioned window in left
side; a 5-light recessed bevelled mullioned and transomed window to
lower storey in rear gable-end with a 5-light recessed bevelled
mullioned window, with 1 light blocked, to upper storey; glass renewed
in side window; small panes in rear windows. Rear wing extended to
north-west probably late C18 and to south-east late C19.
Interior not inspected, but oak beams, probably ovolo, and inglenook
with oak bressumer are visible in rear wing.
