Barn 60 metres south of Greenhills Farmhouse

Threshing barn, circa 1700, a little altered. Brown brick in English
garden wall bond; grey slate roof. 2 storeys. Central threshing
porch at front and back with large buttresses, triangular in plan;
damaged upper face to left front buttress and both rear buttresses,
the latter to accommodate roof-structure of adjoining mid C20 shed.
Oak lintel and lean-to porch roof at front; external steps added
against right end; a round owl-hole near apex of each gable.
Interior: Loft floor has been extended across threshing-bay; oak roof
structure with purlins on 2 queen-strut trusses.
