Rear showing barn which used to house Hawkshead brewery, and dairy before that.

"Barn has hipped gable end to south wing, with cat slide outshut to right
return. Cow house entrances, with adjacent large entrance. Right return has
3 upper louvered openings over later roughcast lean-to outshut. Rear has
3 windows to house, 2 with small-paned fixed glazing. Barn has windows under
dripcourse, with upper ventilation holes. Left return of house has lean-to
outhouse with rear stack."
