Boundary wall incorporating gates and gatepiers. C18; early C20
restoration. Random rubble limestone; ashlar piers and dressed
coping. Large square gatepiers to left with moulded caps and large
ball finials on torus moulded bases; plank timber gates.
Weathered coping to wall, incorporating square-headed doorway to
right and pointed arched doorway with plank door. Early C20
photograph shows gateway in different position opposite porch to
Ablington Manor (q.v.). Linking wall runs to south connecting with
Ablington Manor including further set of gatepiers as those in main
wall.
