BIBURY ABLINGTON SP 1007-1107 10/41 Stable Cottage to east of Ablington Manor GV II House attached to east end of Ablington Manor (q.v.). Early C19. Coursed rubble limestone; artificial stone chimney; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic; outbuildings form small courtyard on south side. North front: 2-window fenestration, all 3-light chamfered mullioned casements with hoodmoulds; doorway with chamfered opening and plank door to left. Connecting wall to right with Tudor arched gateway links with east end of Ablington Manor. South side: C20 altered casements. Projecting outbuilding to right has pigeon holes in gable end with slate perches. Lower outbuilding runs to left with slit vents. Interior not inspected.
