II

Detached house with adjoining barn. C18; barn probably C19. Random
rubble limestone; stone slate to front roof slope, concrete plain
tile to reverse; Welsh slate to barn. 2-room 2-storey plan with
continuous rear outshut. Front: 2 windows with central doorway;
windows have deep stone lintels and leaded timber casements; plank
door with stone lintel; C20 pitched roof porch with timber lintel.
Single-storey shed at west end with corrugated-iron roof has
parapet-walled front and plank door with stone lintel. Ashlar
chimney stacks with unmoulded caps mounted on parapet end gables.
Single timber casement in back elevation with timber lintel. Barn
connects with back of house to left of window and has plank door
with timber lintel to lobby between barn and house. Barn has
central west facing doorway with stone lintel; pitching hole over
now glazed.
