GV II

Main gatepiers, gates and flanking screen walls. C18. Ashlar
limestone and wrought iron. 2 large square gatepiers with small
flanking pedestrian gates and short length of screen wall between
2 smaller piers, iron railings. surmounting wall. Main piers have
recessed corners and moulded caps with gadrooned flaming urns over;
screen wall has small piers which rise flush with wall face, also
having moulded caps, those nearest the main piers having ball
finials, while the other pair have polyhedron finials. Simple
design to gates with central horizontal scroll panel, square
topped, and with 2 leaves to central carriage opening.
