Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17, with wing probably of late C17.
Rubble stone with quoins, partly random coursed with snecking,
stone slate roof, stone stacks with very large large stepped
external stack in north-east angle with tall cylindrical flue.
Single main range with central rear cross range to north, and
additional rear cross range in north-west angle. Mainly 2 storeys
and attic with very steeply pitched roof. South front has half-
blocked 6-light stone mullion and transom with drip mould and
reliving arch to right, and 5-light stone mullion with square
hoodmould over, also partly blocked. Door in centre. Central rear
wing has stone lateral stack to east, 3-light casement with timber
lintel to ground and first floors, and one small 2-light casement
to attic with adjacent similar opening now blocked, both with
timber lintels. Later wing has 2-light casement with timber lintel
to first and ground floors and attached single storey lean-to on
west side.
Interior not accessible, but likely to be of interest.
