House at end of terrace. Mid C18. Rubble stone rendered on main
facade with ashlar quoin bands, plinth and string bands at window
head level. Cotswold stone slate roof with 2 rendered end stacks.
Single range. 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows, 12-pane sashes with
plain stone architraves. One 16-pane sash to left of door, with
cellar window below, central 6-panel door with top 4 panels fielded
and rectangular fanlight with wide double X tracery. To right
carriage entrance to back yard with ashlar surround and keystone,
and double doors with 12 flush panels. Attic has 2 C20 dormers
with continuous flat roofline across width of house and with front
faced in Cotswold stone slates, cutting into cornice band. To
left, verge between roof of No 7 and No 9 (q.v.) also has Cotswold
stone slates.
