Detached house. Late C18-early C19 with slightly later
extensions. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, stone slate roof
with ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan; C20 extension at right
angles at rear, not of special interest. Main body; 3 storeys
with 2-storey extension to left. Three-windowed facade. Two C19
canted bays with sash windows to the ground floor, second and third
floors lit by 12 and 9-pane sashes respectively, all within plain
architraves. Two-windowed extension lit by similar 12-pane
sashes. Central C19 fielded-panelled door with hall-light with
marginal glazing bars over all within a plain architrave. The
door is set within a C19 gabled porch with a Tudor-arched entrance
and stone balusters set in the side walls. Bull's-eye window with
leaded panes in the porch gable. Flat coped gables. Gable-end
and off-the-ridge stacks. Interior not inspected.
