Detached house (formerly a pair of mirror image semi-detached
cottages). Early C19. Coursed squared and dressed limestone.
Stone slate roof. Ashlar stack. Rectangular plan. Two-storeys
and attic, 4-windowed facade. All 2-light wooden casements to the
first floor. Two 3-light wooden casements to the ground floor.
C19 within a flat-chamfered surround to the left-hand cottage.
Flat stone canopy supported on moulded brackets over the door.
Similar doorway formerly to the right-hand cottage now blocked with
a 2-light casement inserted in the opening. Canopy supported on
brackets retained over the window. Two-light wooden casements in
gable ends lighting the attics. Single axial stack.
Interior not inspected. (Barrington Park Estate).
