Lodge house. c1815, for Harris and Maclean. Flemish bond red brick; ashlar limestone dressings; brick chimney; Welsh slate roof. Two-storey; L-plan with return at south end. Attached is boundary wall running north, included with Nos 1 and 2, The Limes (q.v.). East side: altered and blocked ground floor openings with concrete lintels. Three upper floor windows, one with 12-pane sash, other small-paned casements; gauged brick flat arches, one altered to concrete lintel. Small blocked circular opening with gauged brick surround at left hand end of ground floor. Chamfered alternating ashlar quoins and plinth matching ancillary buildings to south (q.v.). Hipped roof. Upper floor plain ashlar band is continuous with coping of boundary wall to north. South side: single-window fenestration. Doorway with timber lintel and 6-panel fielded door; 12-pane sash over with segmental brick arch. West side: projecting end of return to right with single-window fenestration, 16-pane sash to ground floor, 12-pane over, both with segmental-arched heads. Round-arched opening to each floor of elevation left; fixed light with glazing bars to ground floor, blocked above. Doorway to right with 16-pane sash over. Small central brick chimney. Interior not inspected. Forms part of group with ancillary buildings and Nos 1 and 2, The Limes.
