Indicated on SO 8609 as Gate House.

House with restaurant at time of listing. Late C18. Limestone ashlar, concrete tile roof. Broad block with long wing back, right with part hipped roof. Two storeys and attic, three-windowed: ground floor two 15-pane sashes and first floor three 12-pane sashes, all with plat-band surrounds with keystone and square section cills, and two two-light horizontal sashes with bars to roof. Central six-panel door in wide simply moulded surround, replacing former Corinthian portico. Low, right is two-light opening to basement.
