11/3 Hillside Farmhouse

GV II

Detached farmhouse. Wall links with stable to south east (q.v.).
Early C18. Coursed and dressed limestone; ashlar chimneys;
concrete tile roof. Two-storey with attic. Front: 3-window
fenestration, all 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements
with hoodmoulds, leaded iron casements. Doorway left of centre
with moulded opening; 4-panel door with gabled porch addition.
Further plain doorway to right with plank door. Gable end chimneys
with moulded caps. South west end: single-window fenestration,
all 2-light (upper floor blocked) North east end: stone steps to
upper floor doorway with small attic light above. Rear: gabled
projection with upper floor cross-window. Gable-mounted chimney
above outshut with catslide roof. Interior not inspected.
