C16, C18, C19. A timber-framed structure, with a later front; 2 storeys, 3 upper
windows. Tile roof, coved plaster eaves with moulding, wrought-iron gutter brackets.
Rendered walling, plinth. Victorian sashes in reveals. Stone oval-arched canopy on
brackets to No 7, canopy to No 9, boarded doors in solid frames. Within, the framing
is exposed, including a cruck, and there is a massive chimney breast with a moulded
bressumer. The west side ground-floor windows replace a carriage entrance (to a
former fire-station).
