ci.5, C18, C19. Late medieval 3-bay (central hall?) timber-frame, mostly surviving
above the ground-floor, with details of the later periods; now with a front (north) of
2 storeys, 2 windows. Large tile roof, hipped at the east, half-hipped at the west
end. The upper walling is plastered, the ground-floor of painted brickwork.
Casements of varied form. Plain doorway with a simple canopy; the west side has a
wide opening (to the forge) with half-glazed folding doors. Within these are massive
beams and a large chimney breast: also a fine C18 oak corner cupboard with a curved
front.
