Late C18, early C19. A symmetrical pair of cottages of one-storey and attic, 4
windows. Tile roof. 1/2-hipped and with 'eyebrows' (formerly thatched), massive central
stack. Roughcast on chalk walls, with exposed forming around the upper windows (cills
at eaves level). Modern casements. Two brick porches with tiled roof and gabled front
the side walls having a rusticated quoin treatment inside and out.
