A fine early C19 house, originally the brewer's house to Cobbs' brewery.
It was here that William Pitt the Younger was entertained. 2 parallel ranges.
3 storeys and basement stock brick. Stone parapet. 5 sashes with vertical
glazing bars only. Stone cills. Stringcourse above ground floor. Fine
central Adamesque doorcase. Cornice of modillions and frieze having a swag
pattern with oval paterae at the ends. 2 stylizied composite reeded pilasters.
Panelled reveals. Semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. Underneath is
a band of reeding and paterae. 6 panelled door with fielded panels, 2 now
missing. Interesting doorknocker. 4 restored steps and 2 interesting scrolled
footscrapers. Plinth. Rear has rainwater head. The interior contains the
original mahogany staircase with wrought iron scrolled balusters, and the
ground floor retains traces of a frieze of cherubs swags and cornucopia.

Nos 15 to 35 (odd) and No 91 Trinity Square form a group
