SU 1404 RINGWOOD HIGHTOWN ROAD

House. Early C18, extended late C18, refronted mid C19. Brick, front painted on
ground floor and rough-cast with false-framing, old plain tile roof, 2 storey,
3 bay with bay added to one end. Front has added bay to RH end. In original
centre bay has top-lit 6-panel door in timber doorcase of pilasters supporting
moulded slightly projecting hood. In each bay on both floor originally 16-pane
sashes, but lower sash replaced C19, sashes in added bay narrower. Above door
originally 12-pane sash with C19 lower sash. 1st floor raised band. Stacks in
front of ridge each end of original part and stack at RH end.
