SU 52 NE CHERITON BADSHEAR LANE

5/10 Barn at Middle Farm

Barn. C17. Timber-frame with weatherboarded and corrugated iron sides and iron
roof. 7 bay barn with one aisle and midstray either side to 3rd bay in with
double doors on one side. Inside queen strut roof of reused timbers with straight
braces and wind braces. Posts on aisled side on brick piers with ties at top and
bottom. On side of barn at one end C18 3 bay barn of flint with brick dressings
and reused timbers in queen post roof. Attached to side at one end later barn.
