My mother, Gladys Steer (nee Fletcher), was widowed in the 1950s and emigrated to Australia in 1959 with her children Elizabeth, Isobel & Geoffrey (I was brought up by my grandparents). She visited UK in 1983 and, with my wife Maureen, we visited Alresford. This photograph was taken by Maureen outside the gates to Langton House
