Spencer Place

Uploader's Comments

This home is the Spencer home/Spencer Place. It has been part of my family since my great great grandfather William Spencer, whom the home was named after. French prisoners of war built the home in aprx 1360 while being held in England between South Africian and the Great War. The house was converted from a small workman’s cottage into a gentleman’s house, by adding a large wing to it.
