House, now shop and office. C18, with C19 alterations. Front wall of stucco,
tile roof. Symmetrical east elevation of two storeys three windows. Victorian
sashes. The ground-floor has a pair of double fronted late C19 shopfronts. The
rear (west) of the building, facing Brook Street, shows a series of additions,
with a complex of roof shapes indicating different phases of contruction. Walls
of painted brickwork, with exposed framing to the south side gable, some tile-
hanging (to a staircase wing): roofing with gable, half-hip and hips at a higher
level, gabled and hipped dormer: vernacular details.
