Milestone. Circa late C18. Painted stone. Triangular on plan; inscribed: London 45, Basingstoke 1/2 and Hartford Bridge 9 1/4. It is on the Basingstoke, Odiham and Alton turnpikes of 1755 and 1736 respectively.
A good example of a late C18 milestone.
