Regency mansion. c1820. Walls of stucco, with plain plinth, shallow but wide pilasters with moulded caps, and above them a plain frieze and cornice, architraves to windows (with moulded cornice above the ground-floor lights). Hipped slate roof.
Two storeyed square building with three symmetrical elevations, divided by pilasters, and a lower two storeyed service wing attached to the north side. The west front has 1.1.1 windows and a porch of a Tuscan Order, with pilasters and square columns, an arched opening with architrave and glazed door within. The south elevation, of the same pattern, has 1.2.1 windows, and the east elevation 2.1.2 windows. Sash windows throughout. Between the main block and the wing there is on the east side a tall narrow connecting unit of three storeys.
