Chest tomb. C16. Stone rubble chest with an oversailing chamfered granite lid.
Inscription commemorates Humphry Borrington and describfs the Borrington Charity,
granted 1589. The Ideford and Luton Guide states that the tomb is that of Humphry's
father, Bartholomew, and that the inscription is later. The charity was paid out on
the tomb.
