GV II

House, formerly a barn, standing in the grounds of Yonder Wreyland. Probably C17
or earlier. Granite rubble and cob. Thatched roof, half-hipped towards the road.
2 storeys, with single-storey lean-to. Gable contains an old wood mullioned-and-
transomed window with ovolo-moulded mullions; it may have been re-set.
Interior considerably altered in 1984. Roof-trusses are C18 or early C19 with
collars pegged to the faces of the principal rafters. Cecil Torr, author of Small
Talk at Wreyland lived at Yonder Wreyland and did his writing in the Tallet House.
