Stables to Powderham Castle converted to house. C18, extended in C20. Flemish bond
brick ; slate roof, hipped at left end, gabled at right end, concealed behind parapet
in the centre.
Plan: Courtyard plan, extended at the right end in a matching style.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical front, symmetrical in the centre which is 5 bays
with a parapet and central front door with a round-headed fanlight and 12-pane ground
floor sashes. To the left the front is blind with 4 large blind round-headed
recesses. The C19 addition at the right has 4 round-headed windows on the ground
floor with fanlights and 4 first floor 12-pane sashes.
Interior: Not inspected.
