Farmhouse. C17 or earlier with C19 alterations. Colourwashed and rendered; thatched
roof, gabled at ends; end stacks with brick shafts, rear lateral stack in centre, 2
rear wings, with red pantile roofs, rear left wing shorter.
Plan: Overall U-plan; a single depth main range, 3 rooms wide with a cross passage to
right of centre; rear left and right wings with an outshut between.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4 window front, the eaves thatch slightly
eyebrowed over the first floor windows. 2 C20 front doors with C19 doorhoods on
moulded brackets; C19 or C20 timber sashes, mostly 3 over 6 panes, 2-light timber
casement to first floor left.
Interior: Right hand end of,house only inspected. C17 moulded crossbeam to ground
floor right which also has a pretty C18 china cupboard with reeded jambs.
Roof: Not inspected, principal rafters said to be straight.
