House. Probably late C17 in origin, extended in the C18. Whitewashed plastered cob
and stone rubble; thatched roof, half-hipped at ends of main block, gabled at end of
wing. Left end stack to main block, axial stack to rear wing, end stack to wing.
Plan: L Plan. The main block single depth and 2 rooms wide with a central passage 2
room plan rear wing with the rear room probably late C17.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2 window front with a central front door and C20
metal frame casement windows. The left return (adjacent to the road) has timber
casement windows with glazing bars. A section of thatch in the wall suggests that the
roof has been raised.
Interior: Rear wing only inspected. The end stack has a C17 fireplace with a step
stopped chamfered lintel and a roughly chamfered crossbeam.
