Probably old cob cottage or farmhouse, stuccoed and embellished early
C19 with Victorian enlargements doubling original structure to north.
Thatched roof. 2 gables at west end, one with ornamental bargeboards.
Eaves fascia with cut ornamental edge. Some half dormers, "eyebrowed"
thatch over. 5 window entrance front facing south, mullioned casements
1st floor, most of glazing bars removed, later alterations including con--
servatory at west end. In the gable above is small Victorian boy window.
Picturesque, hidden from road in spacious well wooded garden.
