Summerhouse, kitchen garden walls and ha-ha. Late C18. Rubble and brick, slate
roof. The octagonal summerhouse stands in the middle of the north wall, which
has return walls to east and west sides, the fourth side closed by the ha-ha
which formerly had a duck pond. Summerhouse: 2 storeys, pyramidal roof, 3 sides
to garden have glazing bar sashes, central door on ground floor, stack to rear,
there was a wooden external stair (removed) to the upper floor. Walls: rubble
externally, brick lined. Ha-ha: rubble, with nesting boxes (presumably for
ducks). There are earthwork traces of an extensive system of waterworks to
the east and south.
