5/16 Barn about 20 yards
north-east of Garway Court

GV II

Barn. "1739" next to owl hole in east gable. Sandstone rubble with
corrugated iron and Welsh slate roof. Five bays aligned roughly east/west.
Opposed cart-entries in second bay from west. North elevation has eight
loops to the left and two to the right of cart-entry. West gable has
seven loops, the top one with owl hole above. Interior has collar trusses.
Attached to right of south cart-entry is a cow-cot with three bays divided
by two undulating beams carrying parallel struts to the rafters. Included
for group value as a dated example of a barn.
