Barn about 15 yards south of Lower Wormhill Farmhouse

Barn. Probably C18. Sandstone rubble plinth and east gable, timber-frame
with weatherboards and half-hipped corrugated iron roof. Five structural
bays aligned west-north-west/east-south-east. Two levels. North elevation
has central ledged cart-entry. East gable has weatherboarded upper section
above rendered lower part with two entries, one in centre and one to right-
hand side into cow house beneath tallet. Interior has side walls three square
panels high from cill to wall-plate, trusses have three or two posts between
their ties and collars and wind-braces between bays. Included for group value.
