Cottage. Late C17-early C18, altered. Roughcast, with timber framing exposed
in left bay. Wall surface is irregular and has bulging plinth. Thatched roof,
brick chimneys to right and between left bays. One storey and attic, 3 bays.
Ground floor has 2-light wooden window to left, and 2 2-light barred wooden
casements with segmental heads to right. Small 2-light wooden window in thatch
to right. At right end is a board door with segmental head. To left is a later
lean-to with another board door. Queen strut truss exposed in left gable.
Interior has C18 spine beams with stopped chamfers and old joists. Original
fireplaces, one with range.
