Manor House Hotel

II

Formerly house, now hotel. Early C19. Rough render, lined to
look like ashlar, hipped slate roof, brick chimneys. Large square
plan, 3 storeys, 5 windows wide on front. Sash windows, splayed
voussoirs, soffit extending beyond reveals. Windows to right of
entrance more widely spaced to allow for chimney: ground floor
windows slightly wider than upper floors, extend to floor level.
Central first-floor window semi-circular head, projecting keystone,
intersecting glazing bars. Front door 6-panelled, narrow lights
either side; above semi-circular fanlight with intersecting
glazing bars. Doric pilasters either side, fluted upper two-
thirds: impost block above to open pediment with mutules: reveals
panelled. Wide eaves projection with timber consoles. Chimney
to right within main envelope, on left return projects slightly.
Internally original panelled doors in hall, with reeded architraves
and echinus head to frame.
