Detached house; datestone: 'THE POUND HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE 19th
OCTOBER 1851 REBUILT FOR HANNAH BRIGHT AGED 71 YEARS BY THE NORWICH
UNION FIRE OFFICE 1852 AGENT W. R. CAUSTON SURVEYOR GLOUCESTER,
WILLIAM FREAM BUILDER'. Squared stone brought to courses, lateral
brick chimney, tiled roof. Two-room cottage, gable to road, one
storey plus attic. one window each floor: gable, 2-light timber
mullioned windows, lancet head to each light under square top, ikon
casements, diamond-leaded lights with margin, no lintels. Boarded
door in small timber porch, tiled gabled roof. Datestone large
panel below upper window. Roof has shaped bargeboards, ordinary
and shaped tiles form bands.
