The Old Cottage

Detached house; C17; timber-framed with rendered panels, tiled
roof. Probably originally 3 rooms in line; 2 floors, upper half
in roof. Framing 2 panels high, lower rising practically to
ground-floor ceiling. Three late C20 metal windows, with, to
right a panel built up in random rubble. Door now near right-hand
end, under C20 porch, with late C20 garage covering last section of
facade. Lateral chimney on rear wall towards right-hand end; on
left gable a large, external chimney, of painted rubble stone, with
small, brick top.
