GV II

Barn. C17. Timber frame dark weatherboarded with steep old red tile
roof. Linked to house on left, a tall 5-bays barn facing N with central
opening for double doors. Angled jowls to bay posts and long straight
braces to tie-beams. Angled queen-posts support purlins without collars
in the clasped-purlin roof. Long edge halved scarf joint in wallplate
with bridled butts.
