This contributor took an unusual shot of the Holy Rood Roman Catholic Church on Monday, July 2, 2012, from the top floor of Jury's Hotel, Clarendon Road, Watford, looking due south. John Bentley's Neo-Gothic, Perpendicular masterpiece remains one of the iconic buildings in central Watford, fully deserving its Grade I Listed status.
