Previously a Hardware Store, 129-129a High Street has been occupied by Mather Marshall Estate Agents since 1993.
Previously it has been said that numbers 127-129 was a butchers, F Steers, and above the shop lived the Palmers – Charles (a bricklayer), Laura, their daughter and four sons.
In 1911 Nos 126-130 was the home and business of Albert Lines, ironmonger, and his wife Annie, and their seven children.
