Miller's house and watermill in one range. C17 or earlier,
worked until 1895 continuously in hands of one family. Timber
frame on stuccoed sill, roughcast. Mill part white
weatherboarded. Continuous steep thatched roof, hipped at W but
half-hipped at E. A 2-storeys range facing N with 2-cell, lobby-
entry, central-chimney plan house at E. Adjoining mill of 3
narrow bays, half floored, with wheel in W bay, wheel pit
and stone-floor over in middle bay, and entrance in E bay. House
has 3-light flush casement windows and central door. Interior
has chamfered axial beams with hollow stops, and stair rising out
of entrance lobby. One stone and the shaft of the pit-wheel
remain in the mill. Mill leet dry. (Branch-Johnson (1970)162).
