House, licensed in 1711. C17 with later alterations and
additions. Timber frame roughcast. Red brick rear additions.
Steep old red tile roofs. A long 2 storeys and attic, L-shaped
building facing S. Irregular fenestration with 3 C19 3-light
flush casement upper windows and 3 larger transomed similar
windows on Ground floor. C19 half-glazed double-doors in plain
surround with heavy bracketed flat hood. Blocked doorway at RH
end of front before slated lean-to extensions. Wrought iron sign
bracket with twisted finials. 2-light attic window in E gable
apparently in front of a chimney. Signs that front wall has been
heightened. Interior has chamfered axial beam in lounge.
