Coates Manor Farm

House. Probably C17, renovated extensively in C19. Timber
frame on red brick plinth (painted brick at front) with roughcast
walls and steep pitched roof now slated. Long 2 storeys and
attics house facing E. Large red brick central chimney to S part
(S end possibly an extension) and rear lateral chimney to N part.
Lean-to at N end. 4 windows long E front with 2 gables, 2 canted
bay windows on ground floor and door between. Oak plank door
with moulded surround and blank overdoor, shaped brackets, and
flat hood. Half-glazed panelled rear door in moulded frame with
moulded flat hood on shaped brackets. Canted bay window to right
of rear door.
