Stable block about 25 metres east of The Chequers Inn and wall attached

Stable block. C17 and C18. Red and blue chequered brick, in part in irregular English bond, with weather boarded gables and plain tiled roofs. Two parallel ranges, the front range (facing the Chequers Inn) the later; single storey with hipped roof, with blocked semi-circular openings with gauged surrounds either side of central boarded door with rectangular fanlight. Rear range gabled with timber coursing pieces and two shuttered openings. Wall attached to north of red brick, about 6 feet high with a central gateway flanked by piers and stretching some 50 metres to the east of the Chequers Inn and forming the northern boundary of the Inn yard and public car park.
